Salaam Sigri Bangalore

Salaam Sigri is situated in Kaggadasapura main road, and is pretty close to our stay. We used to go there often, and had tried almost every item they have in their menu. Salaam Sigri offers kebabs and rolls(chicken, mutton and veg). The meat is well cooked, juicy, soft and is present in ample quantity. The spicy items like kali mirchi, resmi kababs etc are really spicy. Service is also very good. Major turn downs include waiting queue and mosquitoes as the place is open and they don't have a closed seated place. We had tried home delivery also, but the rolls became really cold by the time we received it, and it lost the essence. I have tried out rolls from about half a dozen roll shops in and around Bangalore, and this is my favourite among all. Tawa roll and malai kebab are our personal favourites among the rolls.

Indian Paratha Company Bangalore

A perfect destination for a relaxed weekend drive. This place is about 50Kms away from Bangalore, towards the new airport side(Devanahalli to be precise). A cottage kind of cafe which offers various parathas and parathzzas (pizza with a paratha crest), along with choice of tea. We ordered parathas, parathzzas and tea. They also had flavoured iced tea in choice of water melon, peach or lemonade. Service was not upto the mark, food was ok(may be a comparative ok, but definitely not the superlative ok), but ambience stole the show. We spent about three hours, and nobody bothered to bother us. If you are a selfie freak make sure you reach there when the sunlight is still there, and I can guarantee some nice snaps and selfies in your gallery. Pricing is a bit inclined towards the higher side, but its ok as they got their own expenses to meet.
